We have identified a number of areas of focus
for the Presbytery of the East in the application of the Evangelical
Presbyterian Church’s Vision 21. Some of these items began naturally without
our team’s involvement. We applaud the presbytery’s willingness to try some new
things in an effort to improve the ministry of this presbytery.
In the recommendations below, we desire to make
the Presbytery of the East more effective, relevant, healthy, and helpful in the
life and mission of the church. Each area of focus for Vision 21 is referenced
to specific presbytery committees that may be deemed responsible upon
dissolution of our team.
