SUMMARY

Identity:

We strongly believe that the Presbytery exists in large measure to support the churches of the Presbytery and to assist the churches in the fulfillment of their God-given missions. In addition to its historic constitutional responsibilities (as defined in the EPC Book of Order), we believe the Presbytery can and should fulfill three important roles:

1. To encourage the churches in their fulfillment of their missions;

2. To shepherd the shepherds, providing care and nurture for the Teaching Elders, Ruling Elders, and their families;

3. To expand the kingdom of God within the bounds of the Presbytery through church planting and other means, and around the world through our support of the World Outreach of the EPC.
